While juggling the never-ending demands of starting a company, the founding team have been working towards completing doctorates in aerospace engineering.

Last month marked the end of a four year doctoral journey for co-founders of NextAero, Joel Weightman and Dominic Tan. Over this time, they dived into the world of jet noise, which is characteristic of the earth-shattering roar heard at rocket launches, or from aeroplanes as they fly overhead and swarm airports. With graduation set for October, both Joel and Dominic are now focused on leveraging their research training in the development of NextAero’s Project19 prototype.
